Over December, our team had the privilege of lending a hand at Dunstable Food Bank, part of The Trussell Trust, where the need for basic food supplies remains as pressing as ever. With 1 in 5 people in the UK living below the poverty line, services like these are a lifeline for families facing food insecurity.
Our efforts included sorting food parcels, sorting donations and delivering a trolley filled with much-needed items to support this vital cause. Since its inception in 2012, Dunstable Food Bank has provided approximately 433,000 meals, helping more than 48,000 people. Behind these impactful numbers are over 100 dedicated volunteers who tirelessly ensure that three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support reach those in crisis.
